French Artist Inspired by and at home in Bali

Where East meets West, creativity flourishes.

Meet Jean-Philippe Haure, a visionary French artist based in Bali, whose vibrant works seamlessly merge abstract and realist styles.

Inspired by the island’s lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Haure’s art embodies the essence of Balinese influences, reimagined through a distinctly European lens.

I want to touch people with my art. I want them to say “he feels deeply, he feels tenderly”.

– Vincent van Gogh

Boulle was given the deceased Jean Mace’s own lodging in 1672 by Louis XIV upon the recommendation of Colbert, who described him as “le plus habile ébéniste de Paris”, but in the patent conferring this privilege, he is described also as chaser, gilder and maker of marquetry.
